Software Crash related to the Sound MFD addon

Hello all.

I am wanting to run Orbiter 2006 P1 version and it runs great but when I try to use the orbiter sound add on that I have acquired from Dan's orbiter site the game crashes when it is loading. I have tried the following to fix the problem.

* Un-installed the whole installation and re-installed
* got rid of the sound part and re-installed

Further note. I did make sure that I had downloaded and installed the correct version offered by Dan's orbiter site.

If you must inquire my OS is Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium.
My sound driver is Realtek HD

Any kind of help to get me running orbiter with sound will be deeply appreciated.

Did you run the Configuration program that came with the Orbiter Sound? If so, do you get sound without crashing when you click on the test buttons? Do other games and programs that use sound work OK? If you do not re-install or uninstall and simply disable the Orbier Sound module from the modules tab does the sim load?

Yes I sure did. I done everything and timkered around with it even more but still to no avail.

Does orbiter work if you disable orbitersound in the launchpad?

Yes Orbiter does work when I disable the sound
