Hello,
Just finished installing Orbiter 2016 onto a new computer. Everything seems to be up and running, but I was unable to get Orbiter Sound 5.0 to work.
The download and installation seemed to go OK, Orbiter Sound showed up in the Modules section (I checked the box), and the configuration page works fine, all the sounds test normally. But when running a scenario I get no sound.
I downloaded and installed XRSound, and that is working fine. But I'd like to understand why I can't get Orbiter Sound 5.0 to work.
The computer has DirectX12 installed. I've seen a similar post asking a similar question, and the thread mentions "installing the DirectX 10 libraries". Is this something I need to do?
