News Changes to the SpaceX BFR rocket.

T-40 seconds, issues: booster tank press (fixed), second stage purge.

Issues resolved, count about to resume.

T-25 seconds...

Can it be, that the streams are not synchronized?

Several flashes in the engines, but is going up!

Several engines visually out.

Seems to be quite pitched up due to the loss of thrust, but still going... probably not as well as it needed....
And loss of control...

Cartwheeling!

Quite a good imitation of the early Atlas rockets, with the tumbling.

Don't know why they are cheering. I would be terribly disappointed, especially if its such a trivial failure.

Maybe 5 or 6 engines shutdown quite early, and that was too much judging by the nose up attitude...

Also, why had they still talking like a nominal situation, when it was already in the flip without separation confirmed?

Yeah, I'd probably feel the same...

A quick review of the video shows that one flash coincides with debris flying off the bottom of the vehicle. Uncontained engine failure, and a N1 scenario? The flame seemed asymmetrical, so there could be a (small) fire inside.

Oh, it really looks like a fire in the middle, and at least 6 engines off.

That ended up like many flights in KSP, uncontrolled spinning. Sad to see if it was something trivial like a stage separation that doomed the flight.

It lifted off the smoke already with 3 engines out. Also it was rolling slowly on the onboard camera.

I checked, the roll started when the second big flash appeared. So, loss of control was already way earlier.
