Make sure you have installed all additional addons that are required. brcrater.msh is included in here: [ame="http://orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=4821"]A Different Brighton Beach Update[/ame]

Not sure about AWIDE.dds and 08.dds, but likely another missing addon.

I don't think the big pad has a radio freq. Since it is built for the Arrow, it is meant to just use one of those UCGO Xpndr things and use that to land the Arrow on the pad.

That is fine, I will use one of them they are easy to place.

Hi guys. I'm afraid tweaks/updates to Brighton will be delayed--two cities near where I live were devastated by floods due to a storm. Many people died :( My daughter's place was flooded, but she's okay. I'm assisting in some of the relief/aid operations. Might be busy throughout the Christmas holidays. I'll get back to it as soon as my hands are free.

Heard about the floods, horrible to hear that your family are affected. I hope all will be okay again.

And don't worry, the Brighton Beach 2011 is awesome already and works excellent. Work on it whenever you have free time and feel like it.

Keep it up!

Yes, we heard about that here in Italy, too. Tragic.
Take your time Rodion, this is only a game.

Just a short hello. :)

I'm still on the road. I accepted that job which ties me to a mobile group that goes around from city to city, town to town, visiting schools with our truck that contains telescopes, exhibit booths, and a mobile inflatable digital planetarium, to showcase space, astronomy and space exploration/rocketry to Filipino kids, esp. those in the far-flung rural areas. I'm enjoying this job very much, in that I get to show the night sky to kids with our telescopes and then also let them enjoy our planetarium. I've even managed to show simulated rocket launches inside the inflatable dome by setting the Orbiter FOV to 90 degrees, and the kids love it. :)

So because of this, I'll be quite busy in the next few weeks, so it won't be til April when I can get back to work on some tweaks/fixes, and perhaps even new stuff for Brighton 2012 :) Thanks for all the comments and feedback, much appreciated!

Whoa. Realized that my new job REALLY pushed back any hobby/orbiter time for me. :) But I still want to see what new stuff I can add to a Brighton Beach 2013 release. I have around a month of free time (vacation). :)

I tried this a while ago, but cannot use it due to extremely low framerates and CU usage due to the high poly count meshes. Shame because I am looking for a new Beach.

Perhaps he could make a low-poly version of the addon? (something like selecting a highly detailed mesh to a plain mesh in the energia addon)
