ALPACA (without droptanks) fit perfectly inside the fairings
I made 5 duplicates of the original SRB mesh, oriented about 180°, 30°, 150°, 210°, and 330° relative to the original...
However I think somehow I "chopped" a section of each duplicate booster

Made three different variants of the Vulcan to test its lifting capability (522, 542 and 562)...all payloads were the droptank-less ALPACA at full tank capacity (16.3 tons)

Great. will the lander fit with the drop tanks?

We get this guy ready for eva. So there are variations in the suits. Some have pockets on the legs, some don't. Some have a more rounded pack some don't. I think the rounded back is more the LER style and not what we are hunting for.

I wonder if we can make a VB eva guy? Use thrusters for movement? Then we can have animations like the side shield, lights,.

If so then I might move the arms like the Ummu are so then we can attach things?

Back packs have the NASA logo and artemis? logo. I guess US flag on top, I can put the flags of the people helping also?

Haven't tried that idea yet, but ALPACA is only planned to be launched in one piece on an SLS or Starship. Droptanks are going to be separately launched on two Vulcan or Falcon Heavy launches if Dynetics go ahead with not using SLS. But I'd like to find it out

However, it cannot lift the whole lander fully-fueled (39.9 tons) to LEO even in its most powerful configuration (562)....

It did manage to get to LEO when its total mass is 19.44 tons, but in this state, the fuel aboard is only 13.64 tons. As of the latest calculations for the fuel capacity of the main tanks (10.5 tons), this leaves only 3.14 tons worth of fuel inside both droptanks. Sadly it cannot leave LEO unless it is refueled

I made an eva guy mesh. and put him on the ground. But a few minutes he begins to spin around.

I don't think we can go that route?

The developers of AMSO did a very good job of adapting their astronauts moving on the ground. Unlike UMMU, which slides on the ground, AMSO guys jump on the terrain instead, and they can do that without spinning for a long period of time.

Or maybe the coding behind the movement of astronauts on STS-2016 could also work on the lunar surface

Yes. I think that is done by moving the mesh up and then down with each step.

Not sure if the code is available.

On the sts 2016 guys. It is done thru attachments/tethers. In space they don't have to climb hills,....

I think Ground Vehicle might be the way to go. make a GV cfg and use the eva mesh. you get movement,.....

Sounds like only 2 astronaut's will make this landing. The AMSO eva guys are the way to go if possible. they walk around fine in 2016 but can fall down when turning to far but do pop back up. I did see these helmets. one for IVA's and the sun shades deployed. They was talk about a unpressurized rover being there delivered by another unmanned lander. Found nothing about Artemis lV.

Well unless the AMSO share the code, we won't know how they did it.

I have a new an improved version of the lander with the new crew suits, more moveable HGA, beacons, light.

The scn uses the newest lander . In GV like a car to turn you need to be moving forward.

It is a General Vehicle vessel so just add it in like a vessel. I think in VB you can make an event so the guy might be created but not sure

With this guy we have lights and moveable solar side shield.

He will move like the mmu keys. One thing I need to figure out is the side ways movement. If the heading is 0 no problem. But if not it is not a true sideways movement to the guy. I need to somehow take the heading into effect.

I thought about redoing the guy to make the joint more moveable like the Shuttle guys.

I think I got the movement better. Without too much rework. I think I can get the shoulders move and the wrist/hands to move. Maybe the upper body? Like the shuttle guys. Have attachments at their hands.

Both the new Orion guys and your new EVA guy look super. I would think the face shield on EVA guy needs to be darker and maybe a little bend at the waist and you might add the pockets on the legs. the smaller more curved back pack make a good looking way as well
