Project Arcturus Lunar Lander

A similar camera is mounted on JUNO probe (JunoCam) JunoCam - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A little offtopic: it's a shame that Juno was not equipped with a better camera system. JunoCam it's a toy compared with the camera system of other spacecrafts as Cassini or New Horizons.
I'm aware that Juno has other goals but, again, Jupiter will not have a photo book comparable with the other planets.

Little change for Arcturus:
Bigelow inspired ascent module, for more living space and same global mass. This is not an inflatable module, but its presurized atmosphere is all inside an expandable and non-rigid material:

Here a comparison with old Antares capsule derived ascent module:

Welcome back fausto!! Landing on the Moon with this in Orbiter 2016 is going to be a ton of fun.

Great to see you back again. I like the ideas you have. Could be nice to see this land on Mars.

There is an ongoing project working to build the Constellation Moon Base. The airlock and small hab are about done and the larger lab is in the works along with an upgraded ALSEP package to be deployed. The doors on the airlock and hab match up with the LER by gattis. I'll try to get some screenshots. The detail with the descent stage and VC look awesome. This lander along with the MPCV might make a great combo for an addon using the SLS to launch

This lander is too heavy for SLS. The descent module carries a lunar rover too..

Grande Fausto! Bentornato! Hai voglia di andare a dare un'occhiata a questo lavoretto che ho fatto in tua assenza con l'assistenza preziosa di Vittorio? Non trovo mai il tempo di finirlo...

Some numbers:

Bigelow inflatable module concept has an habitabile volume / mass ratio of 16.5 m3 per ton. (according to BA330 space station) The Altar ascent module (classic metal cilynder) was 5.3 m3 per ton.

You look like you're making great progress! Is the plan to still launch it on the Quasar rocket?
