Error And finally, DESCARTES!

Well now I just added the DESCARTES spaceship addon, and it gives me the infamous,
">>> ERROR: No vessel class configuration file found for:
>>> ERROR: Spacecraft\spacecraft3
>>> [C:\Source\Orbiter\Vessel.cpp / 248]"

Which is strange, because I was trying to run the basic Shakedown scenario which should require absolutely no other addons at all. I read another person had this problem and so, per what fixed their issue, I downloaded and inserted all of the earlier versions of spacecraft.dll (so now I have Spacecraft 1, 2, and 3 DLLs in my Modules folder) and yet the problem still persists. What on earth (or in Space!) could the problem be?

You need to have the dll in the modules folder and the Spacecraft3.cfg in Config\Spacecraft. I am guessing you are missing the cfg file.

Ach, thanks mate, you're absolutely right. I downloaded Vinka's 'full package' instead of just the DLL and now the scenario seems to work swimmingly. *facepalm*

But don't think you've gotten rid of me! I'll be back as soon as I start failing to get the rest of the DESCARTES scenarios working! :lol:

I just wish every call for help would come like this. With log etc.
And those facepalm situations are always the best
