I made landings on the Moon, not starting from Earth, but using scenarios which already place Apollo in parking orbit around the Moon. Everything is OK, great shadows also from LM and astronauts...
But, if I start Apollo-xx from Earth, right from the beginning of the mission (scenarios "all missions before lift-off" folder), after the long trip to the Moon (good trip, thanks to step by step IMFD 5.x tutorial!) after landing on the Moon LM vessel does not cast shadow on the surface of the Moon.
Why? I compared scenarios, and I can`t figure out.

P.S. EDIT. yeah, looks like the sun was too low, barely above the horizon. That was the reason.

Yeah, but there was not a night at Fra Mauro. Sun was already visible above the lunar horizon( very low), looking from LM. Actually, I landed too early anyway, not waiting in lunar parking orbit.

I have seen this odd behavior of Orbiter. It is independent of AMSO.
