I'd really like to see an atmospheric flight autopilot like there is on the DGIV. Other than that, I'm quite satisfied with the XR-series autopilots.

I was going for a bit more real-world feasibility on mine, though, since I wanted to be able to send it into orbit/eject it with current technology.

I'm working on a nice little system/environment simulation, so you can depressurize the cabin for EVAs, manage power (I intend to add some nice sun tracking solar panels eventually), enable/disable key systems, and more! I'll post screenshots once I get it working.

Figured it out. The debugger was launching the Orbiter.exe from my clean debugging install, but was trying to grab the dll from my other "dirty" install, so it ended up opening the right orbiter.exe, but the wrong SiriusM.dll and SiriusM.pdb. Since that dll was an old one, a lot of my methods...

I'm having a bit of a problem here, and I'm thinking maybe someone here can help. So I got a nice clean Orbiter installation all ready so I can debug a project I'm working on with, but when I hit F5 to debug, VS tells me that "the breakpoint will not currently be hit. No symbols have been loaded...

Hey everyone. So recently, I've been thinking that a smaller and more realistic spacecraft for delivering UCGO cargo and UMMU astronauts to a space station or somewhere would be nice. Definitely true, and that's something I should probably have thought about before making that assertion. But thanks for considering the idea. :)

Since we're all taking about stuff the DGIV should/shouldn't have, I have one request, and this shouldn't be too difficult. I think that you should be able to customize various performance related parameters in the DGIV, such as changing the mass, main engine isp, RCS isp, main thrust, etc...

That could cause problems. When Orion is docked like that, and you press 'J' on the EDS, the LSAM will be released but the Orion will remain docked. Maybe a better idea is to add a docking port to the EDS right where the Altair comes together with the payload adapter, and add another docking...

AutoFCS works for me with the XR vessels, so although the DGIV's aerodynamics aren't as friendly as the XR series vessels, it could probably work.

Sorry for the bump, but a few days ago I built a little payload fairing type thing for the Energia that'd sort of turn it into an inline launcher and could definitely fit an S-IVB or even something bigger. Would that help you at all here, because if so, I'd be happy to post it on OrbitHangar.
