Turns out the above clip was from the Curiosity rover, not Perseverance, which probably explains why the tweet was since deleted.

seems like some sound recorded is from the rover itself... but the wind sounds great.

Too good to be true: There are rover tracks behind a rover that did not move at all after landing so far. Sorry, that seems to be fake.

There has been an almost blackout-type silence with regards to (raw) image releases since the day after the landing, which is making parts of the internet a bit mad as this is a 180º turn from previous missions, but the images and video and audio are coming in....

I was reading the flat_earth_ers have been straight onto that talking point. Did you know we live on a terry pratchett CD with leftie, pizza loving satanic nasa SPACE FORCE members, gaurding, the edge, with a large Q !
That little drone looks very cool, cant wait to see the footage from that.

The latest 2 Rear HazCam images in color (no processing, just mixed the channels so it's not 100% true color... like most pictures)


I'm pretty sure this is "3D-able", but I'll leave that to the experts (plus I don't have 3D glasses with me), so for now switching between them is cool enough.

Not bad. Probably close to what you'd see in person.
The eye compensates for dominant color - that's why the astronauts reported the moon to be uniformly gray.
