Because they are round. I had to texture the sides section. Because they were really strenched. I will need to redo it anyway. I need to cut the aft window

BTW there is such program like "UV mapper" program which "unwraps" meshes making cylindrical shape uniformly mapped. It can be used with Anim8or. It accepts .obj files.

But I think what you were talking about was this?
HVFtHYo.jpg

where the main module the dots are closer than on the tunnel, right.

I can redo the tunnel to match the main module

Yes, it is about this. Also this middle "circular" ring around the main module also has stretched texture (maybe this "middle ring" could be not so wide? maybe mesh can be made like those forward and back "rings", so texture will be OK).

I noticed in real photos that there are some handrails on the top of the module as well, but it is not so important.
I just thought that in current Orbiter withD3D9 client, texture can have minimal, barely noticable, shading of grey, because now it can go to another file ****_norm.dds file (like bumping). Insulation sheets contained grey horizontal\vertical lines and those "points"... but it can be done by anyone individually.

Thanks.

I think maybe add cameras into the mesh?

On the interior I might round the aft window.

So this piece of equipment looks like it it is pulled from the wall behind this panel?

Maybe either place this guy in there or make it so you can move the guy?

Make the scientific air lock open and the rack extend?

Or rather than adding the guy just add different camera views?

I like adding some functionality to the interior. One thing that was interesting in Space Shuttle simulator 2007 was the ability to move around the interior - in the shuttle and the spacelab. Your work looks great - you've done an amazing job.

Hello "CTarana45"

So yes indeed you must install all these addons in order.
Some will overwrite files in the previous ones but that's okay, you have to do it.
Regarding the scenarios of the addons you can leave them, some work with Orbiter2016 and some not.
but the point of downloading all these addons is because their creators created payloads, LC39 HD PADs or whatever else that we need to make the "STS2016" scenarios work.

One thing not to forget as it is indicated in the "read me" is:

Take care during installation and follow the instructions below:

In Space Shuttle Fleet V4.8 Release 2 of "David413" on 20-04-2012 (ShuttleFleetV4.8R2.zip)

Do not install the file: Config / Earth.cfg

Good flights
Hi everyone, as a complete newcomer, I've tried to follow all of the help and advice in the forum to get STS 2016 working but it seems that as soon as I get to step 3 , I lose all of my earth textures (I've definitely not copied across Earth.cfg) but everything else seems to work if I progress to the end of step 15. Please can one of you give me a pointer on why it looks like the attached picture

I'm obviously doing something daft
thanks
Dejay

Apologies if this is posted in the wrong place

Just wanted to note, that those "Spacelab" holding bars\rods which end's are on the tunnel's upper part are "joined" in real life. I mean that part where tunnel is up and going into the main module.Spacelab.jpg

Maybe the front 2 arms are but it looks like the back ones are apart.

Yes, they seem more like "morphing" in the tunnel. Just insulation blankets cover those ends. So maybe no need to change much. The only thing I noticed is that front arms do not "touch" tunnel - small gap remains.
