Radar24 is going to look quiet around here on Saturday.

A few days ago, the official reason was having more time for testing, since many components had been falling behind schedule again.

Now they save that excuse for 2022... :picard-giggle:

And in 2023: "The cat was sleeping on the launch console. We could have disturbed her."

Faroe Islands is reacting along with the partial shut-down in Denmark yesterday. All larger gatherings have been canceled, and ferries will only be carrying cargo.

Flights are somewhat restricted, but not as strict as I would have expected.

We have 2 confirmed cases, and 34 persons in quaranetene.

Is Formula One start cancelled?

Everything is going to get canceled this year.
And everything is going to shut down.

Hope you got a reading list.

Is Formula One start cancelled?

Apparently nobody knows... typical f1
It looks like Vettel and Kimi left in an early morning flight.

Ironically, we seem to be getting more orders for construction site cameras, so the "important" people can stay at home in self-quarantine and still see what's happening...

RE F1 from another forum.

Police have been telling early arrivers that the 8.45am time would be delayed. A police officer, who didn't want to be named, said the delay was being enforced in expectation of Premier Daniel Andrews' announcement of a spectator ban.

“From a public health point of view, if it is to be run and I’lll leave it to grand prix officials, the Australian Formula One grand prix organising body to make an official announcement and that will happen quite soon.

“But on public health grounds there will be no spectators at the grand prix this weekend if a race happens at all. That’s a matter for them.”

The FIA can't cancel unless there are less than 12 cars available or they will have to pay up, so they aren't moving a finger. Meanwhile, some teams haven't shown up to the track, and some drivers have left.

Who loses money on this?

Just curious considering Formula One's financial history...

Probably not Bernie Eccleston.

First rule of F1 (any racing really), the way to make a fortune racing cars is to start with a huge fortune. That is to say, FOM makes money everyone else looses it.
