There's been quite a few science announcements in anthropology over the last year or two (and I get most of my stuff from the BBC which is saying something.)
Remember that big find in (I think) South Africa? A cave with a lot of mixed remains, taken as possible evidence of ritual disposal of the dead. (May have been last year.)
And I think there have been a few cases of DNA being recovered from old skeletons. (There's a particularly dense bit of bone near the ear which can provide readable samples these days.)
There seems to be quite a lot goin on in that field.

Oh good point - I tend to read the odd science thing that comes up - generally evolutionary stuff on our earlier subspecies and so on. I tend to blanket all "anthropology" in that sort of area

FYI - testicular prosthetics are very common in this country and are relatively inexpensive. :thumbup:

The biggest one of them is about 485 mm long. Fits even into a small car, but is large enough to drive your children mad in the sand box.
(Though for annoying my daughter, a dredger ship would be better.)

Addendum: a few years ago a used bookstore opened near my home. They didn't last long and closed up shortly thereafter.
As far as I can remember, there was NO bookstore cat present.

Though I suspect that this is an actual construction site where instead of paying workers to operate the equipment, people pay to use the equipment. Some real estate mogul is laughing in glee at his brilliance.
I grew up with a bunch of friends who liked aviation and flight simulators. One became an airline pilot. We had a get together at another friend's house and the host was showing off flying an ILS approach on his shiny new $$$ flight simming rig and my airline pilot friend just snorted and said "No thanks, I get paid to do that now."

Was reading some HP Lovecraft story a while ago, I forget which one, possibly the Dream Quest of Unknown Kadath, in which it was revealed that cats actually have secret ability to fly and have an empire on the Moon.
Also, in The Cats of Ulthar, it is explained that it is in your best interest to be nice to cats generally.
This could possibly lead to an explanation for what happened to the cat-less bookstore...

Things to probably expect:
Glitchy physics.
Frequent crashes.
Poor translation.
Missions that cannot be completed due to bugs.
Grinding for hours on the same monotonous task in order to make enough money to progress.
If you want a surprisingly fun sim, go for Farming Simulator (2017 version is out now).

Anecdote Warning!!!
In a previous job, when I was a car-mechanic apprentice, I was sent off to change a customers tyre. He was a farmer, and the Land-Rover not only had a puncture, but was stuck in the bottom of a very muddy field. Didn't tell us that, or I would have gone mob-handed.
Getting there I got the trolley-jack out and a couple of old railway-sleepers, and started to get the wheel off. For safety, I parked my Land-Rover at right-angles to his, so if it slipped off the jack, it would jam against mine. Good thinking, eh!
Got the wheel off, and starting to put the spare on, then it fell off the jack... A bit startled, I turned round, and an enormous cow was right behind me, along with ten others, and another one that was leaning against the farmers Land-Rover.
Stealth Cows!!! Seen them when I went into the field, but didn't give them much thought.
I couldn't get in my Land-Rover, they were making a swarm, and blocking the doors.
Ended up on the roof of my Rover, and rescued by the farmer some time later. When he'd stopped laughing, explained they are curious animals, and Land-Rovers are a food source. So two Land-Roves = Xmas.
Saw the funny side some time later, but never go in fields now.

Many years ago I worked a security job and part of the duties was checking to see all the doors were locked from the (you could exit the building in the event of a fire, but not enter the building except for the "front" entrances.
Just off the property beyond the fence was some railroad tracks and a cow pasture...
Lazy weekend day and I'm winding my way in and out of the building. I exit the back of the building and see about 200 cows standing there looking at me. They watched me until I got back inside at the next door down. I've read a bunch of Far Side cartoons, so I know they were up to something. :shifty:
