ARGHHH!!
:axehead: I'm kind of distressed with the level of smart idiots. I guess I shouldn't think about it, because this is the internet. I was reading a slashdot article:
http://science.slashdot.org/science/08/04/18/1731224.shtml. While I usually like to read the comments for entertainment and the occasional valid point, I feel like I'm reading animal excrement.
The article itself is watered down local news that provides no good information on finding out more on the subject. If anyone figures out information on Lockheed's rocket, lemme know.
On a related note I am tiring of shuttle bashing. No I don't think the shuttle is ideal, but it has outstanding capabilities. Its kind of akin to the F-117 Nighthawk. The Nighthawk was the first operational stealth plane of the US, it could attack places other aircraft couldn't. The shuttle is a manned heavy lift rocket on launch, and can return large satellites back to Earth and land on a runway, nothing else can do what the shuttle can do.
What's wrong with the shuttle? Same thing that's wrong with the F-117 Nighthawk. Both have had safety problems and both have enormous maintenance requirements.

. We've been having around 10-20 degrees here lately. Now it's around 20 during the day. It's not that bad too have moderate weather...not too hot, nor too cold. Last year around this time we were already starting to see storms.
