These are the last pinup fairing shots I'll post to this thread. If you want to see more (and it really doesn't get any better than this), you can see them in my new "Pinup Fairings" album. The reason for this is so I don't spam up this thread. Anyway, this was your "sneak-peek"!

Here's my replication of the WGS-2 mission using BrianJ's Atlas V (with parts from Jim Clem's Atlas add-on) and Istochnikov's Boeing 702 add-on. This is the day of launch. I remember it being very rainy, or at least it was when I was at school that day 15 miles South of the pad:

Later that night, it stopped, and liftoff occured on time:

From what I've researched, the satellite was placed over the Indian Ocean, so I manually burned the Centaur. After the stabilization burn and a few adjustments, WGS-2 made it into GEO for the troops fighting in the Middle East:

IRAS image projected on the celestial sphere. I got the image from here:

http://www.chromoscope.net/

The site has other wavelengths as well. I'll try them all.
If it works ok, I'll add support for background textures as an option to the next beta.

For a 666th post, that looked suitably devilish. Good job, Martin!

YES!! Finally! :) Perhaps we could use a background of our galaxy. Something like this:
