OHM XR2 UCGO Cargo Platform v2.2

Too bad it took me this long to find this:facepalm:.Thanks Woo, and good job:thumbup:. Now what payload to use for my first mission:hmm:

Nice & useful addon.

Finally got the update out  I'll try and get the XR5 version released in the next day at most, I can just copy most of the new code from the XR2 platform to the XR5. In the next version of the platforms I'll try and make the cargo management better, it's getting rather difficult now

Any chance you could find time to make a shorter version so we can fit the XR2's CHM in the bay as well (I know you'd lose some space on the platform)?

I might be able too, though if you don't mind the meshes going over each other you can just change the "Dimensions = 3.0 1.503 4.9" line in "XR2_UCGOPlatform1.cfg" to something like "Dimensions = 3.28 2.128 1.454", that should allow you to put both the UCGO platform and the CHM in the bay, though it wouldn't look as good as it would with just the platform in there

I was using it and all seemed normal until I tried to release the cargo I opened the cargo bay then when I tried to release a cargo it said that I needed to open the bay doors. They were open I will try again but this was anoying.:(

Are you using one of the older versions of the XR2? I think this'll happen if you're not using version 1.1d, I think changing the "Realism settings = true" line in the configuration file to "Realism settings = false" will allow you to release cargo again, though you really should get the newer XRs.

I am using 1.1c is this ok. Do I really have to re download the whole thing or is there a patch or somthing else that I can get to update it?

I might have found a bug. I can't get fuel to add to the XR2. I have tried the space fuel and the barrel fuel UCGOs. They show up on the cargo platform and it says "Fuel added" when I press F but the fuel quantity remains the same for all tanks.

Adding Oxygen works. Each UCGO adds 150kg to the LOX tank.

Also there is a mesh for the XR5 UCGO platform in the download. I don't know why it's there but it causes the XR5 UCGO Platform mesh to be messed up. Using the original mesh from the XR5_UCGOCargoV1_1.zip addon fixes it.

I'm using the 1.1d Ravenstar. I tried this on the 1.1c version and had the same problem.

I'm not sure how that mesh managed to get in there  but I'll remove it and re-upload the addon and I'll look into why the fuel wont transfer to the XR2's tanks, it should be working fine, but I'll run a few test and check my code again

Do you think it might be a problem with the XR fuel code? I know the XR vessels are picky when it comes to refueling. Unless it's a problem on my end, the only way to refuel them is by opening the fuel hatch and using the refuel switch in the cockpit when on the ground or docked.

It won't even let me refuel them by using the scenario editor (although it lets me remove fuel). The only refueling "workaround" I have found has been using the payload manager to add 2 main fuel tanks, empty the payload bay, and then add 2 more tanks then empty the bay again.

This vessel works exactly like the normal XR2 bay tanks work, so it should be working fine, so I really have no idea why it won't work, but I'll take a look at it later

And another update! no new features in this release but I did fix the fuel transfer bug and compiled against the Patch 1 SDK and the newer XRVesselCtrl API, so it'll now work properly with the new XR2 release and Orbiter 2010 Patch 1

I could have sworn that this update worked for me when it was first released. Now the module doesn't seem to work, but the old one does. Are there certain dlls I should make sure I have?

Hmm, everything you need should be in the file  you might need the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package though, since I compiled the addon with VS2010

Unfortunately I wont be able to make this addon Orbiter 2006 compatible, since I'm using features of the newer XR addons and also because the 2006 compatible XR addons are no longer available for download, there's no real point in me trying to support an older version :P
