XR2 Ravenstar 3d Model

I would love to have a scale model of the XR2 Ravenstar in my room, as it is beautiful and inspiring.

Does anyone know how I can get an STL File (with permission from Mr. Beachy, of course)?

Meshing Question - VC Panel development

The XR2 mesh is not open source.

The site you linked has a user "Steve3D", who has a name "Steve Tyler". That's the same name as the copyright holder of the mesh, but I don't know if that's actually him.

Hi, it's easy to get a .stl file from a.msh file.
You have to use msh2obj then you transform the obj file into .stl

Not with the XR2. Because the mesh is not open source and copyright protected, you would need to decrypt the mesh first. Or see a wild chaos, if you open the mesh. Of course, it WOULD be possible to decrypt it. But I won't do it and I don't think many other Orbiter developers will do that as well, its a matter of respect.

Oh yes, mine was a general discussion about how to transform files and not about how to steal someone's rights.
