XR2 Alien on windshield

Hi everyone,

I have been playing around with the XR2 Ravenstar. A beautiful spacecraft I have to add. Kudos to you Doug! :speakcool:

Anyways last night I opened the flight from KSC to ISS and noticed there was a mesh of an alien stuck to my windshield. I'm pretty sure it wasn't there before. Is there anyway to get rid of it?

Hahahaha. Isn't it very annoying? I tried flying upside down and even crashed the XR2 into the ground and that thing would still not get off. :lol:

I tried freezing it off in space, and burning it off during re-entry. Still no luck!

If this is a Halloween prank, then what about other days?
Christmas?
Easter?

Just took a look into the Textures folder. There's a texture called "grey".

BTW, his name is "Marvin." If you want to hide him today, add the following line somewhere in the [GENERAL] section of your XR2RavenstarPrefs.cfg file:

EnableHalloweenEasterEgg = 0

That is because it is not there. And that is why Doug said you need to add it to the file.
It would take the fun out of date based easter eggs when you could see them all in the config file

I flew the XR2 last weekend, it is just awesome. Looking out of the windshield in the virtual cockpit and watching the moon pass by close is just unforgetable. Its the best addon in years.

I agree. I just can't wait until the VC starts working. It is probably the most formidable VC I have seen in all of Orbiter.

I'm resurrecting a year-old thread. Here I am, practicing re-entry of all things, and I notice an alien splattered on the windshield. Awesome easter(hallowe'en?) egg.
