The Netherlands are in a nice group so it shouldn't be to hard to get to the next round.
I think we'll get beaten in the semi-finals however.

Hup Holland! I actually think Het Oranje can go all the way this year, I really fancy Steklenburg at goal as Van Der Sar's replacement (he's an Ajax man, so he's got my vote) and their options in attack and midfield can be dangerous.

And I want that shirt.

Holland are my team, since Wales missed out on getting to this World Cup (and the previous 12 World Cups). I drew them in the office sweep. Not bad - I usually get lumbered with the likes of Honduras and North Korea in these sweep things! :lol:

I was really disappointed with Mexico's game. They had the entire first half to do something, and they didn't. The one goal that really had to be blocked, and it wasn't. One of the oldest guys on the team was the one who made the goal.

We have a saying in Mexico about the national team: "Juegan como nunca, pierden como siempre". They play like they never have, and lose like they always do.

I wonder how the Danes will play. It probably is the country most like the Netherlands but I don't know how the play is.

My guess will be 3-1 for the Netherlands.

No reason to complain about the 4:0 for Germany today... the red card against Australia was a bit hard, but not a wrong decision by the referee, it was a useless foul because of frustration by the Australian player, with not even theoretical chances to play the ball.

And it is nice to know that Klose really still works good in the national team.

Sadly the trend for the team is that they preform amazing in the group-fase and then get slaughtered at the semi's.
Maybe van Marwijk could change this.
