General Question Why is Luna called "Moon" in-Game?

Oddly, the adjective for Saturn (ie, relating to Saturn) can either be 'Saturnian' (obvious) or 'Cronian' (derived from Cronus - the Greek version of Saturn).

Same with Venus or Mars. And both are way stranger then.

What about "Selene", "Selenian"? :P

In Italian it's also funny, since most of our vocabulary derives from Latin:
-"La Terra" means "the Earth"
-"La Luna" means "the Moon"
-"Una luna" means "a natural satellite/a moon".

So if I am getting you all correctly, Luna is Latin for the moon, just like "Terra" is Latin for Earth? So it is acceptable to reference Earth's moon as Luna?

Y'know, if you feel strongly about this, it would be very very simple to edit your Sol.cfg and/or Moon.cfg to use the name of your choice. Heck, name it after yourself....

You can call it what you like. The Moon, Moon, Luna, Selene, Martins, probe, anything you want.

Yup. Easy enough to do although I think it should come with some sort of ceremony..... :hailprobe:
