Still have the original game which I bought 2003. It runs fantastic on my old machine. Some of the mods are really good and I am having as much fun as back then.
Myst 1 - 5
I got all Myst titles from GOG.com.
Somehow I missed this classics, when they came out.
Really strange puzzles. But I like the mechanical stuff in this games.
All works fine, running in Linux using Wine.
Myst 1 - completed
Riven(Myst2) - completed
Myst3 - stuck ( I have problems with the visuals...where to go...where is up?...where is down?...where is left?...where is right?....A bit too psychedelic for my taste)
URU - still progressing
I have played Cities: Skylines, Civilization 5, and Flight Simulator and more (Supreme Ruler, Democracy 3, Dead Space, Outlast 2, etc.). I don't play as much as I used since I had my old gaming rig but when I have downtime I enjoy playing League of Legends, Warframe, and Orbiter.
Not much time for gaming, except letting DF run in the background and do dwarf things. But I tested Dyson Sphere Program lately and quite like it, and returned to Silent Hunter III for some patrols late at night.
My humble colony, Gagarin Station (50 souls, 10 bots).
After difficult beginnings things are going better, I'm now open to visitors and can deal with most emergencies. I'm using the money to buy hi-tech patents from those greedy merchants (whaaaaaat 65% commision, ru serious ???? Get lost !! ? )
Also I'm planning to build laser AAA batteries, right now I've been pretty lucky with meteors (still some casualties), but as my base expands probabilities to get hit increase as well... But they are quite expensive, you need semiconductors, a decent power grid and enough engineers to operate them (and the associated telescopes) 24/24.
When not working on my own new game (MotorWings flightsim) - Then it's usually ArmA 3. I like flying helicopters with Advanced Flight Model there - It's actually quite a realistic rotorwing simulation (built on spin-off technology from Take On: Helicopters, a nifty heli-sim by the same developer)
Flight gear has been quite helpful to me recently - not as a simulator itself, but as an open source example of how to implement certain things (like dynamic pitch propellers) that are very hard to find detailed in literature, however hard one googles after PDFs
I'd be playing the new MSFS too, if only my cringesomely inadequate GPU didn't preclude performance not of a kind you'd measure better in "seconds per frame" than the other way around...
Warld of Warcraft. I have been into mounts recently but don't like monotonous actions to do thus ask pro gamers for help it is affordable so I feel quite ok about that.
Besides Orbiter 2010 and 2016, I play TheoTown City Simulation in Android. I have also played Lords Mobile and TerraGenesis, albeit very rare. I will play Airport City soon, which is about to create a city based on the aviation industry, later aerospace industry.
