Question What games are you playing?

Old-School GTA, Sim City 4, Orbiter (of course), and I've been recently playing some LA Noire which is quite entertaining.

Having a go with Tom Clancy The Division. Not my normal stuff, useless at FPS, but I liked the look of the graphics...
Getting my rhetorical shot off, and that's in the tutorial section.
All advice appreciated.

More "Rainbow Six: Siege" than anything else by far.
Also getting familiar with the Hornet in DCS a couple hours per week.

Space Shuttle Mission 2007.

Its over 10 years old now but still the best pure shuttle simulation out there IMHO. Started playing it many years ago but never finished all the missions. Finally getting back to it to finish it up.

For the last two weeks very much exclusively No Man's Sky :P

Before that a bit of Subnautica, as well as the early access versions of Objects in Space and Star Traders: Frontiers.

Spend a lot of time on CIV5, can't get away with VI.

When I do find time and will to play, I choose:
- Battlefield 1942: an old fart like me is still able to outsmart some dumb players out there
- Balanced Annihilation RTS: Love the game, however I'm pwnt by every n00b playing the game. And guess what? I have one of the best score there. Must be because I'm a very technical player, but some times there's no place for "art of war" there. That's why I prefer playing with friends. Anybody wanna try?
- Atari 800 emulator from time to time

Woo482 and I have been playing No Man's Sky NEXT in co-op multiplayer:

Aren't the two of you supposed to be working on XR-vessels?

Oh wait... I'm supposed to work on IMS2 and I've been playing NMS non-stop over the past two weeks... Never mind, then. :P

Love me some BF1942. Forgotten Hope 2 for BF2 is definitely the best WW2 FPS experience you can get, definitely recommend it if you still have BF2 lying around somewhere as it is still played and continuously updated (also they added Polish armed forces as a playable faction recently).

Aside Orbiter, I'm a simple man, I'm into:

  • Falcon BMS (THE F-16 benchmark)
  • DCS World (I'm not a fan but I like to casually fly in it),
  • IL-2 Sturmovik: Cliffs of Dover - BLITZ! (Karaya if you read this !!!)
  • Flight Simulator (on VATSIM with a @#$%load of addons err, RYR5113 doing domestic flights from EGSS to the rest of the Europe, and FDX in my MD-11 in the USA),
  • Elite: Dangerous (the sequel of the previous Elite games from the 90s, some here who plays it probably knows the 51TH Massilia wich I'm a part of),
  • Star Citizen (the new Chris Robert's game, the man behind Wing Commander/Freelancer/Starlancer any one :D),
  • Infinity: Battlescape (another space game i'm into, it's in alpha right now)
  • Diaspora: Shattered Armistice (a standalone freespace 2 mod that recreates (and nails it !) the universe of Battlestar Galactica),
  • EVE Online (it's very addictive for somebody like me, a true sandbox),
  • Planetside 2 (kind of Battlefield 2 but in a futuristic landscape, I like the way of having huge battles with hundreds to thousands of players in the same place),
  • Project Reality (a realistic standalone mod for Battlefield 2 wich focus on the teamplay and not the frags)
  • and lately I started playing again Krabol Spass Pragrum !

This is an interesting thread and seeing many games I didn't even know about. I've been wanting to get into some type of space game that is more oriented in exploration, strategy, and adventure and less oriented in battle/shooter types.

Any suggestions?

No Man's Sky fits 2 of the three. Not much strategy I'm afraid, though.

Got back to Minecraft lately, especially since it still works fine on my notebook despite NVidia and Microsoft telling me that I need to buy new hardware for my old games...

This week has been Minecraft, SS13 and the latest addition to my library, Exapunks.

Trying to play Tom Clancy's The Division.
Am I missing something, can't save my progress?

Still going through the first mission Station Precinct. I can get through all the way to the roof, but if killed I start back at the car-park gates!

Don't want to have to play every mission from the start, any modes/cheats?

Thanks, N.
