During lunar training with DeepStar 2.0, I made a not-so-good ascent with Lander 2. Rather than try to hog DeepStar itself into a rendezvous, I dispatched a DG (docked to DS2's nose & brought along for just such an occasion) to retrieve the lander.
As I approached the wayward lander I switched to external view. The lighting was dramatic, the moon was beautiful and creeping up to that lander all nice, slow and majestic gave me goose bumps.
So what I'm trying to say is:
Thank God, Martin and everyone who has contributed (not necessarily in that order) for this fantastic sim and the experiences it grants us.
There just might be hope for humanity after all.
