The North Shuttle of the Space Elevator has stopped at 70km (43.5 miles), and opened the bay doors. On the platform stands one lone BASE jumper, ready to make the biggest jump of his life.

To activate:

Select the Jumper (UMmu-Jumper-01) using F3, then hit E to jump.

K activates the paracone.
Numpad "-" fires the retro-rocket, so you can push away from the elevator shaft a bit.

Included in this pack is a scenario for 9 jumpers, which currently doesn't work. (On my computer it makes Orbiter freeze when you try to jump.) If you can figure out why and make it work, shoot me a message on Orbiter-Forum and I'll credit you on the next release.

I saw over on the Addons Working in Orbiter 2010 page that Kulch's Space Elevator was working again in the new P1 patch.

You old timers will remember the heydays of yesteryear when that add-on first came out. About the same time Sputnik came out with his Douglas Paracone add-on, and I put two and two together and came up with the wild idea of Ultimate BASE Jumping!

Unfortunately, Sputnik's Paracone add-on wasn't working in 2010 P1... but I noticed Artlav had made a UMmu-compatible version that did, so I went to work on an updated scenario.

Oops! There seems to be a problem with it, Pressing E locks it up.

Odd. One jumper, and he'll jump fine. More than one, and Orbiter freezes. Any ideas, anyone?

I'm wondering if you can have more than one paracone in a scenario. I've left it up for download in case anyone wants to take a look at it and see if they can see what the problem is.

I've released a version with one jumper, which should work. I've also included the 9 jumper scenario... if anyone can figure out why it freezes Orbiter when you try to jump, I'll acknowledge you in the credits on the next release.
 
Might have something to do with the paracone. I tried deleting it using the scenario editor, but I got a CTD.

Yes. Almost definitely the paracone. I tried one of the UMMU reentry scenarios that comes with it, and the moment I press E Orbiter CTD's.
