I know as soon as I get an answer I am going to feel daft and very silly for asking but here goes..
Why do prograde and retrograde Auto pilots turn the craft through 90 degrees?
The thrust works through the CoG of a craft i.e xyz 0,0,0 and along the z axis.
I can make a mesh which makes my craft LOOK like it has a feather for a top but a lead balloon for a bottom but if I say they meet at y = 0 then force acts along y=0. If the craft rotates around that point then force still works in the exact same direction!
For the life of me I just do not see how the line of thrust alters. If I point straight up and then turn north, east, south and west, I am still pointing straight up!
