2006-P1 addons will still work with 2010 for the most part.

The new graphics are incredible. Thank you much, Martin! I've dreamed of spaceflight ever since childhood, and nothing has brought me closer than orbiter has. Thank you so very much for everything.

Yay!! Thanks Martin and all who contributed so much to this project!!! :)

Caught us off guard there martin, you released an hour early I think.. At any rate our download page here is up to date and all links are active. Note the abundance of mirrors, feel free to download from any other mirror site to spread the load, or use torrent if you prefer.

I was unsuspecting of this Tuesday! Now I REALLY can recommend this release to a few out there I know! This will be bring a new chapter of life to the community and education around the world of realistic spaceflight! Congrats on the best program ever to grace the world Dr Martin!

There is plenty still to be done, the bug list is longer than ever, and I'm sure it will grow even faster over the next days and weeks . Orbiter is and remains a work in progress, but it's getting closer all the time to wherever it's going!

Cheers

Quite true, I need to get over my laziness lately and check out some things that have been out of place and note! Still, It's much more stable than before!

By the way, now that it's been released (downloading now) has a winner on the guess the orbiter released date been chosen? Or looked at?

One of the scoldings I remember from the 1st grade was the result of me daydreaming about being an astronaut on the way to moon. Now, nearly 40 years later, I get scolded by the wife for spending too much time with Orbiter, and being a vitual astronaut (she happy I'm not surfing for porn though).
Thanks Martin, for the awesome simulator, and the Orbiter community who keeps the faith.
(and if not for Orbiter, I'd probably be surfing for porn instead of downloading 2010)

Thanks martin!:jiggy::10sign::11sign::banana::bighug::love:
You make the inner core but the addon developers make up the radiative zone convection zone photosphere and chromosphere of the hypergiant star called orbiter

I've enjoyed your software for almost five years to the day. A marvelous contribution of your free time. My significant other calls me nerdy and geeky, and I gotta tell ya.....it's all very worth it!. Thank you!

PS: I will be seeding when I get home if a torrent is available.

Martin,
I've been an Orbiteer since 2002, this is the best thing that's happened to me today!

Thanks for continually improving Orbiter, and for fostering such a great community,
Ben

I thought it would have been a great idea to release on April 1st, but that wasn't a Tuesday, and it presumably wasn't ready then. Oh well...

It's still gonna be another two months for me though, since I've got to get back to a Windows machine. I'm anxious to try it out...

Well done, martins. I know you do this as a side-project to your daily life, but I'm simply amazed and what a great product and community its spawned. It may be Monday here, but Monday works well for me as the new Tuesday. Cheers!

This is like a summertime Christmas day. Unpacking the files is like unwrapping a present!
