yep, i am...

HERE

i hope it's ok...

every time i watch that show i can't help but to wonder how come no-one has mentioned this sim yet... they've done a whole episode featuring the MMO "Age of Conan"... i figured Orbiter would be much more appealing to the characters by it's realistic nature

so i suggested it... i think it would help if others posted as well to back me up...

i just think it would be cool

A question that needs to be considered:
How much did the company behind Age of Conan pay to be advertised^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^Hthe subject of an episode of a show whose demographic presumably consists of a large number of people who are the sort of people who would play a game like that?

In other words, since that sentence is horribly horribly thick... was it a genuine appreciation of the game, or was it a product placement? I've got this funny feeling it's the latter.

probably the latter would be correct.... TV IS a business, is it not?

but there have been a number of smaller mentions in the show about things that were either freeware or too "small" to be possibly coming from paid advertisement... so i figure there's a chance they could have a quick mention of Orbiter :hmm:

i reckon they would not write in a mention to a commercial product without due profit... but since Orbiter is as far as it gets from such case, i don't see reason why not

you mean like Howard's space toilet?

That's one idea. If you ever saw a particular episode of The Simpsons, I was thinking more along the lines of "The Sheldon."

A "Hail Probe"? I really would like to see what the german translators do to it .

"Heilige Probe!" ("Holy Rehearsal/Sample/Test/Specimen!") ;)

Dubbing stuff is not only about translating, but also about using words that look like the actor is actually using them.
