Hi eveybody...I have had this vision for a simulation which I tried to pull off in various game authoring programs like 3drad,gamestudio,torque. Much to my dismay I have yet to get what I want.

Briefly I want to be able to assemble rocket components and then fly them off from various pads. (Thus the rocket construction set)

Basically the player could select from tankage/airframes /Liquid Rocket Motors, Solid Rocket Motors and cobble together a stack and then fly it. Can this be acheived within the framework of Oribtersdk? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have some very basic programing skills..willing to learn if anyone would like to team up.

Have you heard of multistage2.dll. It makes it easy to create a rocket launcher but the values can be set to anything. It would be possible to create an external program that creates the ini file for the dll program
 
It has a slight connection to your thread, but here's a plug anyway;)

I like this program from NASA, its quite small, but does a lot. Also it has a dedicated part for rocket data, quite usefull for what ifs, and finding decimal points that have shifted sideways. Not that I make those mistakes...

Thanks I havent seen that. So the idea being to edit a ini file to be used with an existing dll?
