Hello everyone!

Been using the simulator for quite a few years now, with breaks. Recently downloaded the newest version and have developed an interest in the Lua scripting portion. Awesome!

Look forward to asking a lot of questions!

Hi,

Just joined. I've been lurking for some time, mainly on your spaceflight news section. A couple of times I felt like chipping in, next time I'll be able to.

My name is Patrick Sawyer, and I am an Engineering student at American River College. I discovered Orbiter before summer break, but didn't have much time to toy around with it before I got busy with my summer job. Now that school is back, I fly on the computers at school ( :shifty: ) when the teachers are not around.

Hello, I'm new to this board so I decided to write something here before I get to the point. My name is Mateusz Brzozowski, and I'm from Poland, just near the capital city of Warsaw. I am 17 yo and I'm a student of Vladislav IV Secondary School (the best one in Warsaw :p)

I'm in mathematics/physics/IT profiled class, and I'm mainly interested in aviation, military, astronautics and computer games. At least 3 of my hobbys are covered by this sim then. In addition to that I'm C++ coder and this is the first modding/addon community I joined (after IL-2 modding community and Project Reality BF2 mod community) oriented around C++ based game, so maybe I'll become addon developer in feature.

I discovered orbiter a month ago after seeing some video on YT. I didn't create an account here and only lurked until I came into some serious problems with Space Shuttle Ultra installation. I hoped to solve them here.

My name is Patrick,(never give out my last name, its embarassing/i like not having my identity stolen) im 16 from california. I like orbiter a lot. Been on here awhile now. I like to start arguments(scrabble ends up as a fist fight most times). My life motto is things once done, can't be undone. I plan on being a mars inhabitant in the next 50 years come hell or high water.

My name is Zane. I am from Houston,Tx. I grew up being around people involved with NASA and the shuttle (and later ISS) programs. I found out about orbiter a few months ago and been hooked ever since. I love launching velcro saturns just so I can see the :probe: enter orbit. So I will leave you with a nice :hailprobe: emoticon and say I am glad to have joined this community.

Hello
I started with F-Sim on iPhone, then on PC Space Shuttle Missions Simulator (I started to read some parts of the real shuttle crew operations manual) and then Orbiter. I became mad of it. I landed on the Moon 3 days after. One month later, I docked the glider on the lunar station, and did all Shuttle classic operations (docking, putting module on ISS with RMS, MMU, reentry and landing...). The following month, I studied TransX tutos and 3 months after having begun with Orbiter, I went on a 65-year trip, landing and refuelling on Mars, then going to Neptune and coming back to Earth like a comet (I burned) with a U-turn planned 20 years in advanced, all this with nominal amount of fuel. Just mad... This game is not a game, it upgrades your mind.

Hi guys! I've just registered here, so let me introduce myself.
I am Ukrainian student, a fan of such disparate things like DCS simulators, StarWars and amateur rocketry. Few days ago i found out KSP - such a space arcade. And now I'm in love with Orbiter. So, I congratulate you with a new comrade :D

Here.
Yo! My name's Matthew. I'm 18 years old, and live in Cincinnati, Ohio in the good ol' USA, where I go to the University of Cincinnati.

I always knew that I wanted to be an engineer, but I was originally going to go into civil engineering. However, about a year-and-a-half ago, I came upon both FSX and Orbiter at about the same time, and these programs really got me interested in both air and spaceflight again. Now I'm going for a degree in aerospace engineering!

I just hope my mom doesn't find out I'm not always working at school.:shifty:

Hi, all! My name is Cameron. I'm 20 years old, and live in Aurora, Illinois in the U.S.

My grandfather was a B-47 pilot in the USAF, and as such, I grew up hearing (and delighting in) stories of flying. From a very young age I had a dream of being a military pilot and/or an astronaut, but a birth defect that rendered my left eye blind made me ineligible for any kind of piloting. Still, I've always had a very keen interest in aeronautics and spaceflight, so simulations like Orbiter are right up my alley.

If I can ever get the hang of it, that is.

Wats up everyone, I got an account here on 11/24/2011. Im so glad to be here. I think I will have a wonderful time here on Orbiter Fourm. I LOVE orbiter. I play it almost every day because its sooooo addicting! I have 100's of add ons. My favorite is the Delta Glider 4. My second is Orulex (it took an hour to export but it was worth it for the meshes and terains which gave me an expirience of a lifetime. I hope I will have the best time here!!!!!:probe::probe::probe::probe::probe:

RocketDad Reporting!

IPV-E+Action2.jpg

My name is Ray "RocketDad" McVay, and I'm new to Orbiter and this forum. I'm a 34-year-old RPG designer that specializes in Hard SF products for the D6 system. I'm excited to learn more about real-world spaceflight and hope to take my future fleet of spacecraft into the third dimension with Orbiter add-ons.

Of course, I gotta learn how to fly first ;)
