I dont need an explanation of how the SyncOrbitMFD works, I know the technicalities of it.

I watched Tex's video on how to Dock with the ISS. His scenario and mine are similar: Lower Orbit then ISS, Behind ISS, and adjusted the altitudes to the PeA. Now, according to Tex's video, Since its ahead of me, i should burn prograde once i reach my PeA. Well, when I do that...my DTmin goes UP! So, i try to fix it by burning Retrograde. DTmin = 0. Lowest Point (because when i burned, my ApA and PeA switched): 50km. >.<

Any idea on what I'm doing wrong? I've docked to ISS before. Sometimes i have this problem, sometimes i dont.

EDIT:
I took a picture of what I was talking about. In Tex's video, DTMin in his situation was 14. In mine...well, just take a look for yourself:
Picture

DOUBLE EDIT: Okay, turns out that the picture isnt to clear. My DTMin is 580 where it should be less then 20 (probably less then 10).

If someone can help, it would be MUCH appreciated

*Burn retrograde if you want to catch up to ISS there by lowering your orbit taking you less time to orbit the earth.

**Burn prograde of you want ISS to catch you there by raising your orbit taking longer to orbit the earth.

...I must have read that wrong hundreds of times. Thanks
But...how do i fix that massive DTMin?

If DTmin is really high you will need to do a small prograde or retrograde burn (depending on the location of ISS) and let ISS catch you/you catch ISS gradually over time. It's best to raise or lower your orbit by only a little allowing you to meet ISS after many orbits. It will take many more orbits than the SyncMFD shows if DTmin is especially high without changing your orbit drastically.

Watch ISS catch you on the MapMFD and watch DTmin drop. When it's reasonably close you can fine tune your DTmin to 0 on the SyncMFD. The less you have to rasie or lower your orbit the less fuel you use and the less velocity you'll have when you catch ISS making docking easier.

Didn't think of letting it catch me over time. Thanks a lot!
Time to get back into orbit...

You can also change the length of the list of orbits by pressing the LEN button or Shift-N. That will let you see your intercept further in advance and therefore show a lower DTMin.
