Project Space Shuttle Vessel

So that is why I only go back to T-9 minutes. 🤷‍♂️

I would at least make this L-10 minutes. More time for Orbiter to stabilize and you can trigger the final count reliable. And one minute more time kills nobody in Orbiter.

Redid my DFI pallet for STS2,.... I did to redo the IECM also.

So I changed the MFD. but not sure about this:

I think the best solution is to subtract 0.1s to the scenario start time, making a T-31s scenario start at 31.1s and the T-9m start at 9:00.1s, so these rounding errors don't cause missing commands, while still having the scenario start at to the advertised time.

Added the payloads mesh,.... some textures were from STS_PAyloads.

This is what I'm going to do (maybe today, probably tomorrow) to fix the issue.
But until the next release, users will have to manually edit the scenarios with these problems, to move the scenario start time (Date MJD) a bit back. For your STS-2 mission, this Date MJD 44920.631585 will work.

Experimenting with shuttle roll outs, I made quite quickly STS-8 scenario for Aug2, 1983 when it approaches Pad39A.
Just wanted to ask, does "J" work the opposite way - detaching MLP with shuttle from Crawler to Pad39? I am seemingly at the right position, but MLP stays attached to Crawler. And - Ctrl-J, and Ctrl-K is there a way to stop vertical movement? Seems it either goes up or down not stopping.
And also - what to do to remove O2 venting plumes near SSME nozzles (in scenario)?

Thanks.
bit confused
"For your STS-2 mission, this Date MJD 44920.631585 will work."
So is the
LCC:SSV_LCC
STATUS Landed Earth
POS -80.6493245 28.5852249
HEADING 35.60
ALT 2.000
MISSION STS-2PAYLOAD

PAD_NAME LC-39A
END
or this:
BEGIN_ENVIRONMENT
System Sol
Date MJD 44920.631585
Context SSV
END_ENVIRONMENT

I assume "Date MJD" must be ~ 31.0 secs before LAUNCH_MJD (or at least 31.011111 secs before to avoid issues).

Thanks
So I have this:
BEGIN_ENVIRONMENT
System Sol
Date MJD 44920.6315856482

and now no countdown clock

Do both LDS diplays say the Crawler is centered? If so, then the CT needs to be stopped in the correct North-South position, which has to be done visually. Only use the South posts for that check, as the MLP is wrong on the North end.
If the LDS is not indicating alignment, then that needs to be handled, which should be done going up the ramp. Yes, it is not easy, with slow turning and crabing needed to get the thing lined up.

And also - what to do to remove O2 venting plumes near SSME nozzles (in scenario)?
If the ET/MPS has prop, it will vent.

So I have this:
BEGIN_ENVIRONMENT
System Sol
Date MJD 44920.631585
Context SSV
END_ENVIRONMENT

and

LCC:SSV_LCC
STATUS Landed Earth
POS -80.6493245 28.5852249
HEADING 35.60
ALT 2.000
MISSION STS-2PAYLOAD
LAUNCH_MJD 44920.631585
PAD_NAME LC-39A
END

and now she sits there with no countdown clock?

When did I say to change this? LAUNCH_MJD
Only change the Date MJD

Sorry,
She works now

Sitting in Crawler I just realized that view out of the windows is quite OK, I mean there is a non "1" transparency. maybe shuttle cockpit could have this feature, especially aft and upper windows... otherwise view of payload bay is too clear, like there is nothing (no glass at all).

im using the latest Orbiter dev build, x64, and SSV 1.11, and none of the meshes load. I can load scenarios just fine, and the vessels are "there", but i cannot see them.

No support for yet. 🤷‍♂️

I tried everything (all PRPLEVEL values are 0) to remove O2 venting at SSME's nozzles, when shuttle is on the MLP on the top of the crawler during roll out, carefully scanned scenario, changed many many parameters, but nothing works so far... I'm beginning to see those plumes in my dreams.
P.S. I couldn't find white room's gangway animation keys in Pad39 (Ctrl-K for RSS and Ctrl-G for beanie cap work!)

Pad vessel animations are controlled by a dialog window accessed by selecting the appropriate pad vessel (either LC39x or SLC-6) and pressing Ctrl-Spacebar.

Nevermind, seems to be I've found the way - setting CONFIGURATION (from 0) to 3.

Wow, just downloaded this add-on and from what I see in manual it is INCREDIBLE !
Works fine from the start - big thank you:)
The question is : when I will learn to fly this thing ?
Cheers
