Updating the HALO and PPE. When this is actually built will have to update again

Artist concept is all we have for the PPE. I have seen gold foil, black foil? silver foil.

I went with the silver foil.

Not sure on how the solar arms deployed.

I have the Halo and PPE attached as one vessel.

One thing I have noticed is on the docks they have a wireframe alignment fins rather than solid ones?

Both the PPE and HALO are now planned to launch on a single Falcon Heavy (which in turn requires a long custom fairing) by November 2024

I made a custom FAIRING. Not sure which logos to put on? MAXAR and Northern Gruman?

Going to remake the PPE and Halo as one vessel. So it is easier to load in Orbiter.

I make get her to launch on the SLS. But it looks like the Heavy Falcon is what it will launch on? I can get on the Falcon HVY but not sure where to tell which fairings.

Also it looks like for the gateway a new RMS will be built

Fair point....the PPE and HALO are going to be launched together anyway, so it makes sense to consider them as a single vessel

Yes. And it will be easier to add tp the Falcon HVY or SLS. I may just have press a ket and the HGA go to preset points.

Hi,
am I right in thinking you need a different fairing option for the FalconHeavy?
Easiest way for me to do that is by another .cfg file option.
If so, and you can give me the fairing dimensions, it probably won't take too long

Now HGA are set.
Yes. On the fairing. I think a cfg with the gateway fairing. I basically took a FH fairing and stretched it out. the z length is 21.9 x 2.69 for one side

That might fit HALO/PPE, but the shape is going to be different. Just stretching a mesh tends to give sub-optimal visual results in my experience.
Also, I think (???) somewhere I may have seen that is is going to be a 3 piece design? Or maybe my brain is making stuff up.

@Max-Q thanks for the links etc. - I didn't read very far, but couldn't see anything about 3-piece fairing - if I'm missing it, please post link or quote! Yes, stretching meshes can sometimes produce unintended results, but I think just moving the conical section up might be OK, with a bit of retexturing.

@gattispilot I'll try and put something together over the weekend. Thanks for the dimensions.

Working on I-Hab.
I have seen different images. Different number of solar panels,......

I have the PPE and Habitat module with sun tracking. But I wonder if I should? From the image they are 90 degrees out of synch?

The panels on the I-Hab are not solar arrays but radiators instead....the way that the PPE's solar arrays is designed on the other hand highly suggests that it is capable of suntracking
