In reference to the classic movie "The fifth element", what about this tune as tiny style copy:

(Also, Muse does not know how to sing for absolution. That is just embarrassing. That's how people, who can sing, sing for absolution:

Heh, I've never seen anyone else who knows of Future Sound of London. They kick ass. My Kingdom is their best, though ;)

YES!! Pink Floyd FTW!!!

I like listening to many different styles, just depends on the mood I guess...
  • "Gravity" - A Perfect Circle
Yeah, I like A Perfect Circle as well. One of my favorites to listen to while flying is "Breakaway" by Kelly Clarkson and songs by Tribal Ink. Also "Burn" by Mad At Gravity is a good one.

My brother in Seattle, Washington, has been raving about them for years, but otherwise you're right. Almost nobody knows anything about The Future Sound of London.

Good call. I'll have to pull out my CDs.

A Perfect Circle is a classic. I like listening to "orestes". Nine Inch Nails are good as well.

For space inspired radio chatter listen to "PPK - ResuRection".

It contains samples from Gagarin's flight.

Interestingly enough, at the exact moment the Columbia shuttle accident occured I was sitting in a pub that was playing this song, quite a coincidence.

I just checked out some of their music - The song "High Roller" (from their 2007 album) has got some space inspired radio chatter in there

That's the very song I was thinking of, but it's at least 10 years old, at least the original release.

Put that song on Orbiter Sound and start it just as you launch shuttle on autopilot for a cool show.

Klingon battle music from the first Star Trek movie when I'm flying my Klingon skinned DGIV. Otherwise almost anything from Jean Michel Jarre.

lol i can't believe no one has mentioned Gustav Holst's wonderful rendition called "the Planets" if you want a variety of excitement to mellow and aw inspiring music, listen to that!
so takes up about 10 songs in my Orbiter Playlist,
My playlist so far contains:
The Right Stuff Theme-Bill Conti
Apollo 13 soundtrack-James Horner
Last Starfighter Theme Song
Dune Prophecey theme- Toto
Pachebel's Cannon
Baker Street- Gerry Rafferty
A bunch of CCR
In the Air Tonight-Phil Collins
8 miles high the-byrds

I would love to have the main title theme and the end title theme from "The Earth To the Moon" that was a great score
