I once read about a health experiment of some sort conducted in a Finland. People were exposured to very cold and dry air. It was very much like the sauna expect that there were about -150C. (I dont remember the exact temperature but it was well below -100C). Someone might consider that crazy. It seems to be not as leathal as someone might think.

In traditionnal russian sauna, you have to run out and roll yourself naked in the snow by -30°C. I'm not kidding !

lol. I'm pretty sure that Gagarin, Titov, Leonov and the others of the "old guard" were practicing these kind of things. No wonder why cosmonauts have an extreme endurance :lol:.

There's something totally wrong in contesting about who's the longest sitter in sauna and overall considering it a hostile environment. Sauna (or Russian steam bath) is a place for cleanness, health restoration, relaxation and rest. If you like it, it can provide you some adrenaline, but you should never impose any ideas of your superiority (bodily or socially) on others, when you are in sauna. Everyone goes naked there, so everyone is equal. Enjoy some classical and modern art...
