API Question Request for API change: CameraMode

I am considering a change to the API interface of the CameraMode classes (declared in OrbiterAPI.h) in order to accommodate a feature request:

and wanted to check if anybody sees a problem with this. The changes won't require any modifications of addon source code, but a recompilation of those addons which use it. The camera mode classes are used by the oapiCameraMode function, and by the ExternalCameraControl class defined in CamAPI.

Are there any known addons using these interfaces, and if so, is there a danger that some of these cannot be recompiled?

A big yes. And a way to finally have a camera in an MFD, would be great also.
