-Read the entire Lord of the Rings series

It's a doorstopper, but not 3 months. Even with the Hobbit and Silmarillion, as MattBaker suggests, it's only going to be a matter of weeks, rather than months.

I'm sure I could do it in a week with no work to do and no other forms of entertainment within reach.

I'll do this when i'm old enough and have the resources in doing so.... :lol:

One of our apprentices at work has build a beer case float with his friends and documented the first voyage. It was surprisingly stable in the water and had a very good cargo capacity... but was poorly maneuvrable.

I had also build a few floats in my youth, but never something I would consider a boat. I had been more the rocket aircraft guy.

Calendar winter simply doesn't coincide with actual winter. The land is white from late November to mid April, usually.

In this neck of the woods of California, we got two seasons. 60 degree weather. or 100 degree weather. and it pretty much switched overnight. Wake up and oh hey....someone turned the Sun on.
