Looks generally like Il-2, possibly the 1946 modification, this shows planes of the extension Pacific Fighters.
Bingo, it's '46. I don't think the Betty came with PF by default.
I just love the damage simulation in Il-2 and Lock On...
I guess I crashed more than 100 Su-25Ts yesterday...
In the picture you can see a flaw, though. The whole tail section is gone but it's still propped up as if it still had a tailwheel. I guess Maddox didn't expect anyone to lose her tail when on the ground.

Warning! *beep beep* Warning! *beep beep* Warning!
You have died of dysentery, Eject sequence activated...

My favourite was crashing the LaGG 3 at over 550kph into the ground at such a shallow angle the cockpit section (which has massive hitpoints) careens across the ground shedding aeroplane parts across the entire Russian countryside.

IL-2 in the early days was famous for lousy German fighter modelling, and uber Russian wooden planes!

The Tharsis Trail, perhaps? From Ascraeus to Olympus.
Ok, first I think we should stock up on Oxen and Bullets, I'm sure there's plenty of game along the way.
What about food?
We'll just hunt ourselves some food.
Feushlien Beat has died of starvation
Don't worry we'll find some food soon.
Stephan Plesck has died of starvation
I'm sure we'll find something to hunt soon.
William Healgood has died of starvation
At least we have some food now, they look tasty enough.
Robert Gorilla has died of dysentery
Wait, what?
Something to hunt for food!
*BANG*
You have died of explosive decompression

Nice... if you are German, you need a mandatory private pension insurance additionally to the classic public pension funds. Now, a financial review magazine found out, that in over 160 out of 175 private insurance products in Germany, you are likely investing into companies that violate the ban on cluster bombs.

The law forces you to support war criminals.

Meanwhile, the New Horizons probe is going to cross the Uranus orbit... :hailprobe:

I just watched Apollo 13. Tomorrow, I'm going to watch Footloose. If I watch another movie with Kevin Bacon, I might actually turn in to Kevin Bacon. *crossed fingers*

Merry Christmas again!

Integrating stack RCS management into Precession MFD...

No matter how hard you try, you will never have a Bacon Number of 0. :P

A group of international doctors met and did a study of the treatment of having a Bacon Number of >0. 50 participants were given placebo, and the other 50 viewed Kevin Bacon movies. Unfortunately, the participants who viewed the movies only turned into strips of bacon. However, although this method has never been examined in a study with placebo, many people have had good results with this method: First, one must fry and eat bacon. Then, the bacon grease must be drained and a solution of Kevin Bacon's DNA and the grease must be formed. The solution must be ingested while viewing a film that features Kevin Bacon.

I can't wait to try this. I'd better change my user name from DanM to KevinB.

Jedimaster, yeah, I did notice that about the suit, lol.

Reading the oil spill report chapter 4... That's why I consider reading (and writing) thrillers unnecessary...

Back on the topic of Oregon (Or Tharsis) Trail for a sec, I beat that game on my first try without any deaths, anybody else so lucky? (MS-DOS version)

Also how is Il-2 compared to CFS3?

Played both CFS3 and IL-2 and IL-2 was much better, IMO of course.

Cos Oleg Maddox is cute. Yes you could in the past annoy him on the forums and help him learn English! :D

When IL-2 first started as a one man project everyone laughed at it. A few years later, everyone worshipped Oleg :P

Only ever played IL-2 here, so... :hail: Maddox.

Especially '46, for the late-war prototypes (I-250, Lerche, etc.) Fun stuff. If only they had included the Shinden, then it would have been perfect. :)
