I just wanna drink me pint in peace, mate.

Your freedom to drink your pint in peace ends, where our freedom to argue about nothing special at all begins. We didn't even yet turn the glasses around.

I just saw an episode of Cowboy Bebop where some guy rigged Columbia with JATO pods on the nose and launched into space to rescue Spike. Even in a cartoon, she looks as beautiful as she always did :'(

One thing I love about Orbiter-Forum: I always end up learning something about physics from other people's arguments.

And about drinking the pint in peace: don't we all? The problem is when each other's mere presence disrupts our perception of peace. Arguing seems to be just a complex extension of homeostasis.

But you didn't hear that from me, because that would be off-topic. :hide:

Just flew the Kathmandu to Lukla hop for the first time in FSX. Cessna Caravan. Blew the landing though. Added too much power on the turn to final, and as a result, had a little too much energy when I put it on the runway, didn't quite get it stopped & nosed it into the mountain. I have a feeling if I had the actual uphill terrain as the real runway does, I might have had a better chance to stop. Next time will be better, I think.

off topic in a random comments thread? :)

Gotta love the face-palm ->

If anyone ever tries dowsing, wherever they say is the spot, means it is in a roughly 15 foot radius from you, but definitely not directly below you.

Actually, that (posts 1605, 1606, and 1609) were moved from the "there's evidence we landed on the moon" thread, I remember.

LOL, I'm a dowser, so true! Better try the pendulum in that case!

The problem for me is, I usually dowse try to find something I've lost, and that something is usually somewhere with plenty of places to hide, rather than an open field.
In other words, a 15 foot radius could be like ANYWHERE.

Really though, you don't need anything for dowsing unless you think you do...I still do.

Everything lost is always found in the last place you look.....cause when you find it you stop looking:facepalm:

in fact, turns out the most effective way to find a missing object, is to acquire a replacement

because Muphy, in all his wisdom, in never wrong:uhh:

So I'm killing a few minutes playing solitare on Windows Vista, and I notice that the King of Hearts has no sword in his head! The other kings appear to have no weapons, either.

WTF? Has it become politically incorrect to have a suicide king in your deck of cards now?

I wonder how many other people have ever noticed Microsoft trying to slip this by the public.
