Meigs Field...:(

I saw that very airfield the year before it was scuttled. Early morning; vantage point was the Chicago Skyway, on my way through Gary, IN for a weeklong convention in Ohio. It was inspiring.

There are 10 types of people in the world: The ones understanding binary, the ones who don't, and the ones expecting a binary joke.

Shouldn't that be "11 types"?

Should have said

"10 types of guys in the world, who know binary, who doesn't, and who expected a ternary joke".

Whichever one you can get to the higher (relativistic) speed. And lower in a gravity well... but then your lead might last a microsecond longer than your wool if there's any atmosphere.

Weapons engineering question: how much damage can be done if one detonates 100 tonnes of ammonium nitrate fertilizer (mixed with, say, diesel) stored in trucks parked at an underground car park of a skyscraper at a downtown area (say downtown LA/London/Frankfurt etc.)?

For reference: the 1994 OKC bombing used 2.2 tonnes of fertilizer.

BTW this is for a possible detective novel project of mine. :P
