I don't really need to explain do I?

Now make 'em pink!

Guess what? They'll still make money with add-ons and DLCs.

Assuming people are compelled to buy them. This action in and of itself will yield no monetary profit, though abstractly, it may net them future customers and thus profits further on.

I'll just guess you've never played SimCity because that's not a business. A business gives you something in return for your money.

Simcity was a disaster, and they have learned from their mistakes. What EA needed was a change of the guard, and they got that when Riccitiello left for Zynga.

Looking at it, the flak EA is getting now, is similar to what Valve got when they unleashed Steam.

Didn't Steam turned out ok in the end?
A real way to buy licensed games online, for a (generally) fair price and no trouble.

Exactly. But you can also see many conceptual differences to Origin there, which suggest that Origin will never reach the acceptance of Steam.

Yeah I'm now back at home. Everything in my body hurts now, due to the use of an jagged axe for cutting loads of wood for the winter, and riding untrained several kilometers an old (~40 years), almost broken (it survived when the house fell down several years ago, but has some pieces a little bent, some others that I had to remove such as one fixing front mudguard...) and with no brakes (almost). Yeah, I like danger

And I didn't studied anything nor continued building my IMS MOHR Station (Moon Orbit Hospital & Research St.) due to .scn corruption ;(

Just stepped into the tweens a few minutes ago. It feels.......interesting. :hmm:

Just don't mistake one for the other.

I find that tweens stick to the tank treads too much... Oh, wait... :shifty:

But Urwumpe is right, enjoy it while you can, because once you get on the treadmill you can't get off of it.

Welcome to the best time of your life.

Eh...

I beg to disagree. In my experience, the best times in life are when you choose to make them happen. Age doesn't have much to do with it IMO. ;)

Finally on vacation now, heading to Florida and KSC!!! My last day at work yesterday was strange though; static shocks, insects attacking me, and at the end I got buzzed by one of the buildings resident bat population. They're actually quite cute once you see them though.

:hailprobe:
