[ame="http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=3324"]AA-Missile 0.95[/ame]

Thx!

Topper

Bug. the scenarios do not have the AA Missiles. when pressing the load button on the MFD. it will not load the missiles

The Missiles will finally created by pressing "MFD-SHIFT + L" or pressing the button.

Witch scenario?
Witch "carrier" are u using?

If there is no config entry for your vessel in the \Config\MissileAttachment\MissileAttachment.cfg, the missiles can not loaded.

But ok, i will put a message to the mfd in this case in the next version, thx!

I am using the scenarios that you provided. Shoot and Intercept. the carrier is the F-15 provided by Kev33

ok i have found the Bug,
i have parsed the config file on my absolute orbiter path, i will fix it...

ok. please provide the fix here using the code feature
I'am just uploading the new version...ready , same link.
Please replace the old "AAMissile.dll" by the new one.

??

Ok i have conformation that the bug is fixed.
You can continue downloading and testing
THX jgrillo2002 !

This looks Very Promising ! Will you be upgrading to include bombs as well ? If so, I have an animated MK-82 SnakeEye Retarded Bomb that would be perfect for this ! Each bomb weighs in at around 530 lbs ..........

Hi tgep,
thanks for testing out!
My plan was/is that user can add there own missiles witch will be controlled by the autopilot in future. If you want to add a guided bomb, you only have to create a "missile vessel" without engine.

Awesome add-on, Topper! Absolutely excellent, just one nit-pick.

Firstly, do you think you will put in a option that turns off the deletion of the other craft? That way, people would be able to use it in movies and have dramatic "Mayday" scenes? You know the type. If not, think of the part of Pearl Harbour where the main guy crashes his Spitfire or whatever it is.

And a suggestion: Targeting your own craft. Yes, it does sound a bit stupid, but, again, it could be useful in movies. Especially you add an option so it only engages the guidance system 10 seconds or so after the launch as a sort of a "warning" time, giving the target a slight chance to escape... but it's your dream, do what you wish.

All the same, well done. Well done indeed.

I d/L the MSVCP70.dll in the Windows/system32 folder. I get this:
Orbiter Launchpad: orbiter.exe unable to Locate Component
This application has failed to start because MSVCP7o.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.

I installed it to try it out. I didn't have the F15, so I changed the shoot scenario to be a DG instead. Upon starting the scenario, and opening the MFD, the Load key works fine (although it does make the simulator freeze for about 1/2 second while loading the missles...). I'll get directly behind (in the smoke trail) of one of the target vehicles, i've tried distances of 250m, 500m, 1km, and 2km. The missle will fire, but I have yet to ever get a successful hit on the target.... I see the missle fly towards it, and it comes close, but haven't seen it hit a target yet. My orbiter sims run at a much lower than usual frame rate, 20-30FPS, my guess is your 'autopilot' is sensitive to variations in framerate.

I got the dll loaded but where are the body, right, left.dds textures?

I have done some basic research for radar sensors, especially for SARH missiles... I just did not find the time to implement a module which does the simulation and provides an API for the vessel.

HAs anyone else gotten this:
Finished initialising status
Finished initialising camera
Finished initialising panels
Finished setting up render state

I went to load the missiles and I get a CTD. THis is what I get:

looking at the mesh I get this:
TEXTURES 3
Right.dds
Left.dds
Body.dds

But I did not see a textures folder in the download
