My personal definition of love includes wishing the very best to the object of my love, and to actively engage myself so that that "very best" may come to pass. So, if patriotism means loving my country (as the community I belong to socially and culturally, not just as a political entity) then it means I'll do my best so that it, and everyone who lives in it, may have the best time as possible.

Of course, a lot of people love their countries in different ways. And some just want to f**k them. They're mostly called "elected officials".

There are rumors that Martian bacteria have more intelligence, but they do not want to humilliate me by passing through an IQ test. So they let me believe I am superior... :rofl:
