Would you order a drone attack knowing you'll be killing his family as well as him to save other lives?
I can tell you my version of it: I wouldn't. I couldn't. I can't balance one life for the life of others, even if it is a miserable life.
His family has done no capital crime, why should I punish them? Just for standing in my way for a quick solution for a problem? No judges, no lawyers, no evidence, only me and my trigger?
There has to be also a difference between real war and this shadow warfare. In war, the whole place is knowing that war is, and that you should seek cover or run away. And even then, killing civilians is inexcusable. That it does happen, does not make it better.
