Lockheed Martin's Mars Ascent / Descent Vehicle is approaching for docking with its nose cone wide open. Olympus Mons is visible on the horizon beyond.

Soviet XR-2 Livery

Currently working on a Buran-style XR-2, "Orlan" (Eagle). I still have to add details for RCS ports, burns, radiator flaps, bay doors and some aligning. Still, thoughts so far?

Lacks some escorts... :hmm: Now where is a Tu-22M mesh?

Indeed. Maybe Marco could model an Arleigh Burke to protect his creation. :)

I wouldn't mind setting a landing VTOL deck and adapting my AGM-109 for it.

Well, making a Kh-32 wouldn't be too hard as well, but I am sure, this kind of simulation works better in DCS or Tom Clancy Novels.

But now, we could answer the final question: Can a Space Shuttle land on a carrier?

Start coding for a streghtned landing gear and an arresting hook placed just ahead of the body flap and I shall take the challenge

You can land anywhere once.
