With a bit of harmless ;) post-processing (ramping up the contrast) you get even closer:

The D3D9 allows to define the contrast for every planetary body separately. Using Exposure and Gamma (i.e. Aux4) sliders from atmospheric settings dialog. Might be good idea to add a color balance corrections too.

I grabbed that from Space Engine version 0.9.7.3, that is with the highest Moon textures 5.43GB. Looks like Orbiter wins here by alot. :hailprobe:

This is something I made yesterday night (i was bored xd). It's the CSSC (Banaba Island) with the Sun and the BPad.

---------- Post added at 02:25 ---------- Previous post was at 02:11 ----------

It appears to be the same photo as the last one, but between the Sun and Pad you can see 5 planets aligned.

Where is Mercury?

Can you spot Mercury?

I accidentally found this on my trip to Mars with the the Delta-Glider.

Answer: Look for the black spot near the Sun.

Getting to learn Orbiter all over again. First, some aerial fun with the DG-EX... :tiphat:

Then re-learning how to make orbital rendezvous.

I decided to make a detour on my way to Mars. And learned a few things. Such as, don't try to make a fast approach on small objects, because you won't be able to see them until they're right up on you, and by then it's too late.
