Orbiter Screenshot Thread

Well, I don't know how to tell you this, but there are other Ripleys, believe it or not....

Oh goodie :D Does this mean we get to follow the gang on their wacky hijinks in space?

If you want, feel free to add this to orbiterroot\config\moon\marker\Traces of Human Activity.mkr:

Code:
+88.5 +3.12 : SEP-010 Landing Site

;)

Wow but that's a lot of hardware sitting around.

I was actually troubleshooting why you cant have multiple lines in each ships config in scenario files and ive also just learned tonight how easy it is to add 3d objects and why i cant see some addons ive installed, so its been a good night lol

Oh, I've seen it. But it's in space. This many freighters sitting dirt-side is a waste of money. Freighters are built to haul freight, if they aren't hauling freight they're costing money.

The same would be true for a science vessel.

Noobie here, Orbiter 2006 P1 with my first 'hacked' mod- Mir 1.3 rescaled Mir_VI mesh, photorealistis textures, custom made cloud textures and my fist use of the DG-IV docking autopilot.

In the "hypothetical/alternate history" series, a fictionnal "Apollo-Agena rendez-vous & docking" mission, implying that the Agena docking port would have been equipped with the LEM docking mechanism :

Maybe a docking adapter, ala Apollo soyuz.

Love the first shot. Placed on desktop for a while.

Yeah, Apollo CSM can look really cute, with that wonderful Earthglow

That's the first solution I was thinking about, but the idea was to keep with existing hardware in the 1965-1970 timeframe. It wouldn't probably be too hard to model a cone port, make a MeshWizard run and Velcro-ize the result to modify the Agena docking port coordinates, but that was more an experiment and the opportunity to take some screenshots.

Oh, and using all the Agena fuel allows to boost the apoapsis of a fully-fueled CSM by 200 km. Rather pointless, except if you consider it can be a redudency to deorbit in case the SPS fails.

You guys display a lot better of an ability to control yourself with reflections whilst using D3D9. I put them on everything. :D

Actually I touched nothing, those are the default AMSO addon textures, which are pretty nice.
