ORBITER-FORUM will be temporarily closed at 2026-07-23 18:00 UTC while we complete some OF maintenance tasks. The amount of downtime is expected to take up to one hour, but probably less.
Nice. Sometimes I forget the KH-11 spy satellites were just Hubble clones pointed straight down to EarthQualified the Vulcan Centaur to launch a Keyhole spy satellite
Didn't the Air Force donate a bunch of them to Nasa a few years back? What happened to them?Nice. Sometimes I forget the KH-11 spy satellites were just Hubble clones pointed straight down to Earth
One was converted into the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope...the other one is still kept in storageDidn't the Air Force donate a bunch of them to Nasa a few years back? What happened to them?

Still occasionally returning to my Mir Historical Scenarios folder. I have all the flights to Mir simulated up to May 1991, plus all the Shuttle flights to Mir which are in my STS Historical Scenarios folder. I intend to simulate them all the way up to the station’s controlled deorbit in 2001. I have the NORAD tracking data for Mir so it’s just a matter of finding the given elements I need for any given date and plugging them in when I build the scenarios.Cool station building!
Looks amazing! Great improvement for the good old Brighton Beach. Some old stuf I abandoned some time ago. Brighton Beach Spaceport, landing bay Aurek

Thanks! I was going to release the meshes as a prop pack for scenario creators to use but, Orbiter is a pain to work with sometimes (I spent more time trying to get the textures to work than modelling the thing) and, on top of that, Skybolt went dormant so I kinda abandoned the proyect heh.Looks amazing!
