The Pictown addon has pretty nice night white lights:

It seems it makes sense to try making night (colourful) lights like spot sprays in Photoshop.
Pictown was made for 2010, where Night Lights aren't a thing. These lights are just the vanilla ones with high-res tiles.

I always thought of the CSS as a rather small space station (or at least a compact one). This visit really helped me put everything in perspective. It is HUGE! :O

That's definitely so!

And we should investigate the effect of a large number of trees, building and other objects on Orbiter performance.

I think we can try placing trees, houses on the ground, and this will make the flickering of surface textures less noticeable.

Also they make place like airports look much more real, give a feeling of speed when rolling on taxiways and runways...

That tree above looks perfect. How many polygons ?
