Orbiter Screenshot Thread

I was going to hold off until we actually started building it, but I'm thinking Francis Drake

Not the Bill Clinton?

Ive been thinking about designing a bigger rover to carry to mercury with discovery & calling it maybe the Champlain

Those panels are going to be pretty ineffective out of LEO. The hab I posted earlier in this thread can attest to that ;)

As for deep six: with Hlynkacg's kind permission I've started an IMS config file for his transhab, which should appropriate for our purposes. Once I get a free afternoon here I'll finish it up and toss it into the deep six thread.

Oh no.

Not again.

Is that a proposal for the first few modules of the Deep Six IMS?

Just a small LEO station with a few modules from the IMS package. I'm learning how to assemble a modular ship :)

For Deep Six, I think it would be better to us write several own modules (and model them).

.. why not? :hmm:

Well shoot.

I thought AlfalfaQc was responding to my question earlier (can anyone find the whale in my screenshot). That post linked to my photo album, in which there's three pics of an XR5 in there.

Well, he was kinda right; that ship can be considered a whale . . . ;)

As per request.

I flew a Shuttle mission to my space station in LEO a few days ago and took some pictures. I always love seeing pictures of the Shuttle at work up in space, be it real ones or the stuff you guys grab here from in Orbiter.

Here are some good ones, well at least some of my favorites..

Performing the RPM, looking like one of my favorite real life pictures of the Shuttle.

Looking down the center of the station into the now empty payload bay after delivering the modules to the station.

Just starting the fly around.
