There's something about Mars that draws me back to it. It presents so many opportunities. It's the only planet you can (realistically) land on that also has 2 moons...err rocks, which make an interesting challenge themselves to simply orbit them and land on them.

Arrow just ejected Earth, heading to Mars...

Orbiting Phobos or Deimos is sure a great lesson of microgravity :)

A small experiment that turned into a challenge : I launched a "module1" (180 tons) with the CEV (20 tons) over it, using my super-heavy Velcro Sigma-V. The idea was to release the CEV, then release the module1 and dock. That nasty module went into an annoying slow spin, that costed me 45 minutes of efforts to achieve docking. And of course, I passed into the night side when I was getting used to it, to make things easier (no spotlight on that addon, too bad). The kind of situation that makes you happy when you hear the docking latches lock. :)

In your mind... and in New York
I was preparing to land at Jarvis after a flight from CSSC. When I was turning to go on final, I spotted this in the distance. I flew over there and dropped a UMMU off. This is what i found.
